Not a dirty fighter at all. But I will say that, like Fury, he targets the ear area with the cuffing hooks, which are legal but have a similar discombobulating effect
He’s not. But I don’t care if a fighter is dirty. If his opponent doesn’t retaliate, that’s the opponents fault for not doing the same thing back or at the very least not making the ref aware. It’s a fight. I expect it to be rough.
If it's so effective, why doesn't other boxers use the same punching style? I think he's the only one who uses this style. He literally destroys his opponents from very short range.
Beterbiev is a clean fighter. He has enough skill and punching power to not have to rely on skullduggery.
Nothing to see here. Moving along... Clearly it was Joe Smith Jr. To blame for those 21 rabbit punches. I can't believe you would besmirched such a clean fighter like Beterbiev.
Joe, there is no need to be a spoil sport. Its not your first loss, and it won't be your last. Welcome to the forum, though.
This, usually he only hits the back of the head after his fists bounce off his opponent's temple/top of the head.
Now the guy that did that video needs to go back and do the same thing with the Gvozdyk match, you know the one where he had bruising in the back of his brain from all the rabbit punches? The tally would probably crest 100. The Nail was probably seconds away from a life-threatening brain bleed because of that bull****. Look, I get it, I used to be a big fan of Beterbiev. It's awesome seeing him wreck guys in brutal fashion, but it doesn't mean we should all close our eyes and ignore the reality that he really does like punching people in the back of the head. At the very least hold him accountable, say you're a fan.... but wish he would quit that **** before he seriously injures someone.
This content is protected First knockdown at 0:45 and put it at 0.25x speed... That looks like a legit legal scoring shot to be fair..yeah the first one is definitely legal I'd say from that angle.. Temple shot somewhat above ear
