You’re underrating his boxing ability, it is there but he’s an extremely aggressive boxer. He will be more cautious against Gvozdyk, you will be surprised at how slick he can be. I have it 80/20 to Beterbiev.

Imagine Beterbiev quitting from body shots after getting rocked by Andre Ward. You’ve got that the wrong way round.

Beterbiev is in the gym all the time, training and sparring. He wont be rusty.

    Why are you lying?

Ramadan is just 30 days long not a complete year

The shoulder injury was in 2016

He can speak English. Watch his interviews on IFL.

His inactivity was due to Yvon Michel and wanting to get out of the contract. The opportunities he was promised were not coming and he was getting poor money.

I'm wondering if the Stevenson Situation affected Gvosdyk at all. He did post a video a while back saying he was the best boxer he ever faced and is praying for him every night.

Bet every spare Penny on Gvozdyk. If the fight happens... Maybe wait till the weigh ins to place your bet

I know he used to regularly whoop Pascal and Eleider Alvarez in sparring

    Not sure now though

I feel like Beterbiev wins this (with a couple rough spots). Only person I think beats him is Bivol

Beterbiev is fairly slow and very hittable. If Gvodzyk can box intelligently and cautiously, especially early on, I think he'll begin to land with more regularity as the bout progresses and could very well stop Artur late.

Gvodzyk is by far the most offensively gifted opponent Beterbiev has faced.

Beterbiev demolished Kalajdzic, who beat Browne (but got robbed), who easily decisioned Jack, who drew with Stevenson.

Gvozdyk beat Stevenson, but not without some struggles early.

Not exactly scientific, but it just goes to show you the caliber of fighter Beterbiev is. He's got the amateur pedigree and he's a vicious puncher. He can end the fight at any time. I also favor him slightly against Gvozdyk.

I hate GYM, but regarding Beterbiev, I would say it's not true. They matched him against Cloud and Campillo pretty soon where he showed great promise . Then he refused a fight against Kovalev in Russia, and not long after he was in a legal battle with GYM trying to get out of his contract. He signed with Al Haymon
and dumped his manager who did everything to help his career. He's a muslim not fighting during Ramadan, and refusing fights when offered. It doesn't give you a lot of time on the scene making a name.

He's been down by lesser boxer too. Anything can happen.
