Beterbiev is the odds on favourite in the Gvozdyk fight

    I like both. Beterbiev is one of those fighters where fans will have wanted to see him more important and exciting fights than he ever actually gets.

    We will always have the memories of the beatdowns he gave to Cloud, Campillo, Callum Johnson which were all good solid wins for the times he took them earlier in his career. Believe it or not, after the Cloud fight Beterbiev was considered one of the most exciting prospects in boxing for those that never knew of him before.

    Speaking of elite LHWs. Team Bivol offered Callum Johnson a shot at his WBA strap on the Uysk vs Spong undercard but unfortunately Johnson is injured and had to turn it down.

    It’s a real 50-50 fight I think teddy will set up gvodzyk to jab and move and artur can be plodding at times but I have a feeling gvodzyk will crumble when beterbiev starts ripping him to the body and beterbiev will start to punish him.

    gvodzyk has the feel of the type who won’t take body shots well.
