OP has used the word "unbeatable" incorrectly.

Bivol can 100 percent win the rematch, Beterbiev has looked beatable even before fighting Bivol. If Bivol had won the decision it wouldn't have been a robbery at all, who's to say he can't win the rematch?

Bivol faded late on against a 40 year old man with a bad knee.

Boxing is scored round by round. As far as the final scoring of the fight it doesn't matter that Bivol faded late against an older fighter who is injury prone. Likewise, it doesn't matter that Bivol had bruises and discoloration on his face. Even if after the fight if Bivol declared "I lost. I got my a.s kicked. Beterbiev is clearly better than me" it wouldn't affect the scoring.

You add up the scores for each round and you either get a draw or a win for one or the other.

Judging a fight is subjective. I had Bivol up by two but there were so many close swing rounds I can see how the fight could be reasonably scored for Beterbiev. If Bivol would have gotten the decision I would have not believed that he categorically won the fight and showed clear superiority over Beterbiev. To me the conclusion of the fight is that two elite evenly matched fighters had a close fight and the best outcome would have been a draw.

Remember people were saying "too strong" about AJ ? Well, that's beterbiev.

Prime fighters could not do **** to him at LHW

I hope he moves up and beats another hyped fighter.

    He barely beat Bivol.

The majority of people believe that he lost that fight.

    They’ve got a rematch scheduled.

    He’s almost 40.

So quite a silly statement to make.

Bro I had the fight as a draw when I first watched it. I 1000% agree it was a close fight.

However, Beterbiev ranks higher H2H and on the ATG list also. He has accomplished more in less fights, with a promoter who barely made a push for him.

He got there through sheer will and brute force.

He had no winning lottery tickets

If he beats Bivol in the second leg, he should retire undefeated.
But he is not unbeatable in that scenario either.

Whether you believe he won or lost his last fight, that fight showed he's definitely beatable.

Going at age 40 and barely getting by Bivol he's nowhere close to being unbeatable, at least not at this stage of his career.

That's how I saw the fight, Beterbiev didn't impress me and Bivol's work rate was pretty thin . On a 1-10 scale with 10 being the thrilla in Manilla , Duran Leonard 1, and Pryor Arguello , I'd give this fight a 5.0 on the scale. At best.....

Those fights you mentioned are certainly much better fights fought at a high level. Saying that though I still think Beterbiev vs Bivol is a good well fought fight that isn't devoid of any skill or rewatch value, it's just not as great as most of us wanted it to be. That fight is more along the lines of Barrera vs Morales 2 in terms of entertainment value but also pales in comparison to what the fans were expecting.

You can also Pernell Whitaker vs Buddy McGirt 1, JMM vs Casamayor, McCallum vs Kalambay 2 as well when it comes to great chess matches go. Some of my personal favorites are Lupe Pintor vs Alberto Davila 2, Chucho Castillo vs Rafael Herrera 2, Yuri Arbachakov vs Chatchai Sasakul, Masao Ohba vs Betulio Gonzalez.
