Not intentionally. He mauls you and throws you around and off balance trying to get punches off in your blind spot. Gvozdyk was on the floor 6 times in that fight....3 were ruled a slip. That shows you how strong Beterbiev really is. He ragdolled Gvozdyk around. He does hold and hit though no doubt about that. Those short 6-inch hooks are devastating because of the torque on them. Watch them in slowmo and you'll see he twists his hips, the balls of his feet and his body into those shots so the leverage is incredible. A guy in a clinch cannot prepare for thoss shots.
Bivol is not strong enough for Beterbiev, imo it will be detrimental, he'll get busted up with the huge gulf in natural strength, he'll rag the **** out of him !
