The main event was incredible. Boxing at the highest level and at its very best. A real pleasure.

It was good that the main event lived up to expectations because the undercard was a disappointment.

I agree with that, but it depends how many you gave Bivol up to that point. I genuinely expected a majority draw when they read the first card out at 114-114.

Regardless, it's a statement of Beterbiev's power that Bivol is looking the worse for wear today from a lot of glove shots. His arms are ruined too. It shows the value of an elite level guard but it can't be any fun facing that!

It´s completely hopeless that they don't dare to be a little bit critical. The Saudi card last night was probably the worst so far.

I had it a draw myself, but so many close rounds. Just do it again, one of the best fights I've seen in last couple of years, pure quality.

 

Plus there seems to be a lack of power which is going to be a big problem going forward.

 

It's crazy, people were talking last night about Quittaker going up a weight as his frame is 'massive' for light-heavy... Beterbiev would destroy him in 3 rounds, let alone going higher up.

I also thought Bivol won based on punches landed, but Beterbiev was clearly the aggressor and he made it count in the championship rounds.
