They didn't fight the same Briedis, let's be real. Emphasis on half the fight.

He won't have to because he won't be able to.

He won't have to because Bertebiev will be lying face down on the canvas sleeping like a baby.

There is 20lb difference and you are acting as though Opetaia is some mug off the street. He'd kill Beterbiev. It may have escaped your attention, but Opetaia is just a bit better than good. He's actually unbelievable plus he's much, much bigger.

He wins in any way he likes.

Opetaia is too explosive for BeterHGH. I think it wouldbe a war for however long it lasts, but I think Opetaia is too big, too strong, and too young to lose to BeterHGH who is aging by the minute.

Beterbiev does a fine demolition job on Opetaia and wins by vicious KO. He would be even stronger in cruiserweight.

    Hilarious.

Callum Smith wouldn't have got out of round 3 against Opetaia. Yet we saw Beterbiev just a bit uncomfortable when Smith went to the body. And if Smith can do that then it's easy work for Opetaia.

If Beterbiev beats Bivol he needs to move up to CW for a title fight. If he wins that move to HW the next fight. After Bivol there is no point continuing at LHW.

No he isn't. Not even by eye test. You guys are acting like he is prime Usyk or something. He can box, sure, but better than Gvozdyk or Usyk or Beterbiev? Hell no.

Eye test wise he actually is, at least in the context of Gvozdyk. What is Gvozdyks resume outside of old Adonis Stevenson, and then Opetaia is larger, with more power and speed

I just checked Opetaia's resume and I wasn't impressed. And he struggled against Briedis.

He beat Briedis with a broken jaw on both sides.

And Briedis would beat Beterbiev easily enough.

Gvozdyk is way slicker with better fundamentals. And why are we suddenly jumping to resume, as if Opetaia's is stacked? Seems like you need an eye test too :)

A faded Briedis. If he faced the Briedis Usyk faced, he wouldn't even have his belt right now.
