Brutal KO From Beterbiev. short- mid range devasting power crowding the long armed rangy left hand destroyer. Styles for beterbiev, i dont think stevenson could keep him away with his only weapon.

I'd say Beterbiev takes him today.

Stevenson is overrated as hell.

He got lucky with Dawson

Plus Beterbiev smashed Cloud and I think hes fighting Campillo next which suggests to me that hes ready for the best and his handlers feel similarly.

 

If they fought now or this year, Adonis...possibly by KO. And it pains me to say that because I do not rate Adonis highly. But Beterbiev is a very raw pro fighter. He is very open to getting hit and Adonis can box. Sure he has got very heavy hands but he is wild with them...he needs another 6-7 fights minimum before he is ready to fight a contender, let alone belt holder.

Btw, I'm vaguely familiar with Stevenson's past and I didn't pick against him for that reason.

It would be downright silly to pick against a fighter because you don't like him or don't like something he's done in his past.

I don't know if you really thought about this before you responded- maybe Beterbiev is a hype job, but I don't think so. He comes with a lot of pedigree and real intangible toughness.

 

When Kovalev hits you it looks like you are being crushed from a disembodied elemental malevolent force. When Beterbiev hits you, you drop like you've been shot and die.

 

Stevenson leads him into left hands until he puts his lights out. If Jeff Page Jr can drop him, Stevenson can KHTFO
