Actually it doesn't have anything to do with Beterbiev as a fighter. He doesn't look bad at all and his stock has not fallen. What comes into question is who's handling his business. By the same token I don't question Barrera willingness to fight and I applaud his attention to the business side of the issue. All fighters should make sure that everything is in order before they proceed into a fight because they can come out on the losing end in more ways than one. I just don't see fear as a motivating force in Barrera's decision.

 

Well Barrera would have looked even more stupid hitting the deck face first. And his fan boys know it Maybe Beterbiev can set up a fight with Stevenson this year. Stevenson needs to get starched

 

I'm not so sure Bummerbiev has the tools to do it. If he walks into a Stevenson left hand, say goodnight.

 

Stevenson would get cracked harder than he ever has. To the body and head. He'd just be up against a superior fighter. Bottom line

 

I agree I find hard to believe fear is what caused him to pull out, the money was crazy low for this fight, I'm personally not gonna commend him for it like yourself but I understand it definitely.

 

Barrera had zero chance against Beterbiev and Barrera knew it. Beterbiev would knock Adonis Chickenson out right now and he would also knock SOB Ward out, however, Kovalev will get to knock that piece of fecal matter out after he wins in court. SOB will retire rather than fight the rematch, SOB lost the first fight, but his judges saved him..........
