Beterbiev has not fought slick boxers on the level of Plant and Andrade has he? Apart from Gvozdyk who else has he even fought that is top level?

lol, this reads like it was written by somebody who hasn't watched either fighter lmao. I didn't even write that about Artur, I said that about Bivol. But yes, Beterbiev is very fleet of feet, it's why he's able to close distance so effectively and why he's able to stick to a guy like glue. If you think Beterbiev has bad defence then wait till I tell you about this Benavidez kid lol. No, Beterbiev doesn't have bad defence, his defence is very layered and underrated. His use of foot positioning, lane theory, head movement, an active high guard, and stepping off the centre line as well as controlling range with his feet are all very defensively tight and Beterbiev's fundamentals are exceptional. Benavidez is flat-footed and leaves himself squared up constantly, he keeps his hands at his hips and his head on the centre line. He's a perfect example of "a brawler with awful defense" as you so eloquently put it. I have no clue how you thought Artur went life and death with Yarde btw, Yarde won like 3 rounds if you're kind and was stopped. Yarde found success early then Beterbiev adjusted and made him quit. Why not talk about how Benavidez went life and death with Plant, an ancient Gvozdyk, or Ronald Gavril if Beterviev-Yarde is your standard for life and death?

I like Benavidez and probably think more of him than most, but I think even if Beterbiev turns shot after the injury he would knock David out

How about y'all hope the fight ends with the better man on the night getting the win he deserves ?? Whichever man it is. A level, fair fight straight down the middle is what I'm calling for, same as always. I like both fighters May the Best Man Win

    Says it all, doesn't it....?

Unless Beterbiev leg is truly finished and he's lost several steps and is officially "old", there is no way Benavidez beats him. We've already seen that Benavidez's assets are diminished against someone of similar frame.
