If you can't keep Beterbiev off you, you are getting stopped. Benavidez has no where near the power needed. Beterbiev batters him. Try and come forward vs Beterbiev unless you hit like dynamite and see what happens. Even someone with the technical brilliance of Bivol will struggle but at least he will be able to avoid major damage for 5-6 rounds. Benavidez would be getting hit with big punches from round 1.

Beterbiev by brutal stoppage around round 7.

It's still Beterbiev although he is at the age where he could get old over night at any time.

We need to see how Artur is following his knee injury. The age difference is quite real between the 27 and 39 year old.

Even if Beterbiev only has one fully functioning knee, Beterbiev by KO, because Benavidez goes right at him. Honestly horrible style match up for Benavidez.

Benavidez walks in range in a straight line and his pattern of attack is very predictable

I was always a Beterbiev fanboy but never rated his IQ super high. Then I watched the Callum Smith fight and saw how within 10 seconds he closed the gap in Rd1 and began laying a beating on Callum Smith.

Benavidez is even smaller than Smith. And he doesn't have the same jab, left hook or range as Smith.

I'm sorry Benavidez fans but Beterbiev kills your boy

PS the knee injury isn't that bad. It was the BEGINNING of a tear and they got it in time. It wasn't fully ruptured.

This was over 4 weeks ago.

None of these SMW weight bullies (Canelo and benavidas) want no smoke from the real boys at LHW! Canelo tried to be clever cherry picking an ancient kovalev then got
Cocky picking the “smaller” LHW in bivol and it backfired. David done the same with gvozdyk. Until they have a proper campaign at moving up a weight don’t bother waking me up.

To be fair, Canelo is a small LHW. He is only 5'8. He isn't some giant LHW. He is a natural middle/super middle. I do not blame Canelo for not wanting Beterbiev. I blame him for delaying GGG fight in 2016 and not fighting Benavidez.

he’s not a giant LHW but like you say he is a small one, so is bivol yet he doesnt feel the need to cut and bully smaller men. Let’s not forget he campaigned a lot of his career bullying light middleweights who were also coming up from even lower weights. He had a crazy medical team assisting him cutting stupid amounts of weight then when he gets popped for PED’s that help you cut that amount of weight he “starts to move up”. I may sound bitter towards him but I do think he is amazing and doesn’t need to do this nonsense he has ability to be a ATG anyways but I am bitter about him vacating to delay the GGG fight to age him out some more, GGG fights were close but he was also old and it shows what a younger GGG would of done to him

Nobody at 168-175 beats Beterbiev unless father time has a say in the matter.

yes i agree with you. Canelo is a terrific fighter but he did delay GGG fight. I have always been critical of him for that. I don't think Canelo is as great as Usyk.

An honest fan knows that Canelo carefully cherry-picked his opponents. And stipulating fighters fight at weights that were not natural for them, hydration clauses, or at later stages of their careers. Canelo is a good fighter but definitely not the great fighter some want to make him out to be. He has such a huge fanbase that he can make these demands. He is the golden goose.
