This is a good scrap for me, it's a risky fight for AB, yeah Smith can on occasion be lacklustre but if he's on form I think it's a competitive fight.
I'm not saying Smith wins but there is potential for an upset.

Sure... but he was also fighting a crafty southpaw with a solid amateur pedigree. Most people don't look awesome against them, including Beterbiev, who looked pretty pisspoor against Alxeander Johnson and Marcus Browne who are both the furthest thing from impressive. So I wouldn't read much into that.

Just a reminder as to what Callum is capable of when he gets into a firefight with a fighter applying reckless pressure. Look at the fluidity and accuracy of those combos.

Didn't Smith beat the **** out of Bauderlique? You seem to miss the point of my post, which you tend to do any time Beterbiev is involved. He struggled with finding the range early with both of them and even lost a few rounds against Browne. Most on the RBR gave Browne between 3 and 4 rounds. So by the Reg saying Callum looked shitty against the Frenchman, by the same token, Beterbiev also looked fairly shitty against the southpaws he's faced as well.

Yes he puts his shots together really well with accuracy, power and speed and if he hurts you with a big shot he's a good finisher too. I wouldn't give the 168 Smith a chance or this version against a younger Beterbiev but, like I said, even Beterbiev's team have a lot of respect for him and see him as a big threat.

Callum Smith is not a southpaw though.

Browne has Olympic pedigree and has always performed well despite the intentional headbutting (Pascal, Jack, Beterbiev).

Look man, I don't consider this an easy fight at all. It's VERY dangerous. Callum Smith has an insane left hook and Beterbiev has to be 110% to beat him because he could have his lights put out at any moment.
