Beterbiev vs Fonfara is a real possibility. Who you got?

He took bombs from Stephenson for 12 rounds

Sometimes you have a bad performance but you have to look at the whole picture

And as a whole, Fonfara has poor defense and yet still isn't hurt or knocked down much

 

Fonfara looked very good against Junior seems to be improving fast. Beterbiev looks a bit sloppy to me. I think it will be a great close fight just my intuition because I haven't followed either of them to closely.

And of course I have no hard proof that Kovalev has a glass chin

But all the signs are there

 

and turn around and walk away nonchalantly before it even lands

 

Jr. is a MW, Fonfara did what he was supposed to do. Beterbiev does look sloppy and neanderthal at times but I don't think Fonfara can expose anything on him

 

This should be a good test for Beterbiev. Fonfara is a tall, rangy LHW.

Campillo gave Beterbiev a bit of trouble with his jab, so we'll see how he does against Fonfara's jab.

 

He was getting dropped shot after shot, and only had real success when Stevenson gassed out.

There is nothing iron about his chin

I could vouch for this however, I heard the same rumors. Even still, Kovalev got the job done vs Pascal

 

I really think you are underestimating Stevenson's power

Not many guys could take that many of his shots flush and survive

As far as Kovalev beating Pascal

The way he did it was indeed impressive

But he did seem bothered by Pascals power

 

Who else could Beterbiev fight? Maybe Chilemba.

amateur credentials aside, all things point to him being a Pro-destroyer no doubt. However I have serious concern with some things that he's been hit with. LHW has a few big hitters and if he gets caught sleep he could go. That being said, I don't consider Fonfara a big hitter at all.

 

I think Beterbiev has improved a good deal since the Page fight.
