    Right now

    Who wins?

Kovalev will be strong favourite i know

But Beterbiev fans will falsely call out Kova's "glass" jaw

This would be horrendous, and certified 36

Kovalev wins this. Either by knock-out or UD he takes Beterbiev's 0.

Beterbiev is an unproven b*m who has a very sloppy defence and a very limited offence. Kovalev would pick him apart and possibly retire him to years as a journeyman.

What about Sadam Ali vs Kovalev. One Rhodes Scholar(Caper) was claiming how much more skilled Ali was than Beterbiev.

I'm one of the few, but I actually thought he did enough to beat Usyk at the Olympics. He was relentless in that fight. During their fight at the W.C. Usyk kept him at distance and controlled most of the fight. During the Olympics Usyk had a difficult time keeping him away. Those punches looked lethal. Great fight.
Beterbiev was also able to hurt Usyk, I'm not even sure if Super Heavyweights were able to do that. Nistor gave him a tough fight, but I don't recall him hurting Usyk though.

This would be an interesting fight, a lot would depend on who could take the others punch better. Right now, Kovalev may win because he has more experience but it'll be more interesting as they both gain experience.
Something tells me that Artur will be able to handle Kovalev's punch a little better than Kovalev will be able to handle his. But one thing is for sure, nobody would want to get punched by either fighter. Whoever can get hit less will also have an advantage. Kovalev is better at controlling range, so Kov might have an easier time of avoiding Artur than vice versa.

I can't wait for this fight in the future (hopefully it happens).

I got Artur by KO though.

All things being quite even in the power department, the better boxer will win. Skills pay the bills. Dam, where did I hear that.

During his last but the TV crew mentioned Beterbiev claimed a 300-5 amateur record. I am familiar with 4 of those losses.

UsykX2, one of which was questionable.

    Atoev 07 WC final, questionalbe

Chinese guy in 08 Olympiad, questionable.

Anyone familiar with the fifth loss????

    EDIT

His fifth loss was to Evgeny Makarenko that was avenged later that same year. hard to believe he only had 5 losses and 3 were questionable to disgracefull robberies.

That was the worst run of fights to a Gold you could possibly imagine. It was not like they even had his fights close. They had him over Beterbiev like 7-1. Do you recall how they scored his fight with egan?

There should be some feed somewhere of when they fought in Russia in the amateurs around 10 years or so ago I guess. Apparently Beterbiev has won the fight but Kovalev says he won it but he was robbed by the corrupt judges - certainly a possibility in Russia. It'd be great if someone can find that one.

People say Beterbiev only fought bums but check this video where he was competitive with a beast like Usyk in the amateurs:

Moreover, one of Kovalev's best qualities is that he keeps his cool, doesn't lose it during the fights. That cool won't necessarily be in place against Beterbiev as they have history and constant verbal exchanges will happen whenever they get close. It will be a great, great war. Winner will emerge as the rightful king of the Andals and the light heavy men.

Beterbiev has lost more than 5 fights but I think he means he only has 5 legitimate ones. The rest were bad decisions or robberies.

Makarenko beat him in the Russian nationals by DQ and he also lost to another Russian in what was his first fight up at HW IIRC. I think his name was something Nikitayev
