This will probably be the IBF Light Heavyweight eliminator.
Jean Pascal is ranked #8 by the IBF, but the higher ranked fighters (Hopkins/Skoglund/Chilemba/Fonfara and Monaghan) have all rejected a fight. Pascal has to accept this week.

I hope Pascal excepts this fight and we could have a cracking fight, because Pascal gave Kovalev one of his toughest fights to date, but I still expect Beterbiev to win, because he's an outstanding talent and we could have a Beterbiev vs Kovalev fight in the spring of 2016.

That'd be too much for Pascal in one year.

Are they no longer both in the same stable and sparring partners? Doubt that fight happens.

Pascal said he wanted to rematch Kovalev.
If he wants to that, this is his chance.

*****. Gotta love it. I didn't see the Fight with Kovalev as particularly tough, although Pascal took a lot of what SK was dishong out. I'm not sure that I can recall a fighter like Pascal. A guy who goes through such long stretches of inactivity, punctuated by bursts of output, that people seem to credit him rounds for. It' very odd.

    Did Monaghan really decline?

Next up are Barrera and Mohammedi, both with Main Event.
Someone accept this eliminator already! :-(

I think Pascal will probably go for it. He wants the rematch with Kovalev and this is a sure fire way to get that. Good fight if it happens

Won't happen. They have the same trainer and Ramsay just said this week that his fighters won't be fighting each other.

I don't think Pascal would duck anyone. Guy seems to have no hesitation of opponent whatsoever.

I hope Pascal accepts, but his trainer won't allow it
