Beterbiev vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Its a shame Beterbiev didn't turn pro younger and have more pro fights.

Would he have beaten Jones? Jones was so good in his prime I'd favor Jones, not saying its impossible for Beterbiev but its a big hill for him to climb.

Hill, Griffin, Toney, Reggie Johnson, Tarver were not easy opponents.

Beterbievs career is also still ongoing so let's wait to see how he does with Bivol.

 

I think Beterbiev could outwork Toney at Lt heavy as this was during a period where Toney was mostly unfocused. I could also see Toney (if motivated) counter punching him to a win. Would be an excellent fight. Beterbiev mops the floor with Thadzi, Griffin is a tougher fight but Beterbiev probably wins that.

 

Beterbiev out cold KO in under 3 rounds if Jones is drug tested, Beterbiev TKO in 10 if Jones is allowed to use every steroid he was using in his prime
