Bombs away! Great news. I think Smith has a real shot here.

Beterbiev already destroyed a top quality operator in Oleksandr Gvozdyk :deal:

Not in as impressive fashion as Bivol in my opinion. I hope they end up fighting anyway eventually as it’s a fight all fans want to see.

I was a big fan of the nail. His punches don’t seem to bother Beterbiev in the slightest. Hi got completely broken in the end

Me too, Gvozdyk would have beaten everyone else at LHW, Beterbiev was his kryptonite.

Beterbiev by KO. If Canelo beats Bivol in May best believe after he beats GGG, Beterbiev will be next after.

Feel bad for Smith. Beterbiev probably just a little too skilled. And looks like when Beterbiev has the edge you don't just lose on points, you get badly stopped.

Looking forward to this one. Light Heavy is showing Heavy how to do it.

While I hate that there is more than one champ in a weight class, my anticipation level does spike a bit when they fight each other. For as long as it lasts this should be a good fight.

If he beats Bivol and Golovkin he would go back to 168. Beterbiev has to show cracks in his game first.

Finally, fireworks early. If Smith could somehow pull this off it'd be amazing seeing how Beterbiev was an accomplished amateur and Smith took a different route. Joe doesn't have to go find him, Arthur will be right in front of him. Can't wait for this slug fest. USA, USA.

It's a real shame Bivol has stagnated or even regressed from the fighter he was a couple of years ago. I think it's partially due to the E-Hearn trying to weaken him for either of his beau's Clenelo or Buatsi by keeping him inactive and away from top competition and partly due to the right hand from hell Joe Smith hurt him with.

But an active Bivol firing on all cylinders whose blades have been kept sharp against top 10 competition is a wonderful boxer.
