I really hope smith goes balls to the wall in 3 rounds and tries to take Beterbiev out otherwise he’ll get stopped
I’m going with Beterbiev 1-6 and 7-9, I don’t see it lasting past those rounds. I will say this though, Eddie Hearns knows something we don’t, because he said Haney was going to drop Regis and we scoffed at the idea. Beterbiev being “caught” possibly compromised his training routine and Callum might catch him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Beterbiev suddenly looks human and the narrative would be Father Time caught up with him.
The British are the most shrewd matchmakers on the planet. Of course he sees something. Whether or not Callum can execute a gameplan to exploit those things is another matter. I personally think he has all the attributes to seriously trouble or even stop Artur.
I agree with everything, smart money says Beterbiev, but Eddie Hearns is making me consider sprinkled something on Callum moneyline.
People say that Canelo-Beterviev would be a total mismatch bound to end in the first round or so and Canelo´s life would be in danger, and then pick the guy Canelo completely dominated to somehow beat Beterviev. Makes no sense really.
I like Smith and if he pulls this off his career will definitely BLAST OFF. I know AB has gotten older and had some jaw work but he is still a heavy handed SOB.
An awful lot of people are picking Smith Beterbiev's age being the biggest factor. I don't think many at all would be picking him against a younger Beterbiev This content is protected
My head says Beterbiev. I know he's old, but if he's also juiced to the gills that's a pretty big advantage, even against a younger fella. Hopefully Smith wins. Gotta love the Brits, always trying to win fairly. Even with the odds stacked against them.
Joe Smith Jr had the firepower to wobble Bivol and put him on the backfoot for 12 rounds. Beterbiev took Smith down in 2 rounds while seemingly just getting warmed up. I think Canelo made a wise decision to avoid even mentioning Beterbievs name ever again after the Bivol loss.
