Hed take and L and a whole lot of respect to go with it. Imho he beats the Biev easy. Bivol is too green and would get schooled and to be honest im not familiar enough on Gvozdyk.

I am probably the only one but I want to see Ward vs Degale. Gold medalist v gold medalist. Even with Degale's flaws he is a handful and causes problems for anyone even when he looks bad himself.

Also I've never seen Ward in with a slick fighter that has speed. That's the type of opponent he has been avoiding. I still think Andre Dirrell had a good chance of beating him during the super six. Chad Dawson doesn't count because he was drained and made the biggest mistake of his life going down to 168 where he looked slow.

Beterbievs career has gone from the big bang to the tepid fart. When will someone get to grips with managing these EE dudes correctly..

 

Ward has slowed down but he still has decent footwork. The fight at the weekend showed the judges still score rounds in his favor when he's not landing as many as his opponent and going backwards. I think it would be a wide UD. He would avoid getting caught up with Beterbiev and the reason why Kovalev was struggling at landing anything other than a jab was the slow predictability of his punches and Ward's elusiveness. Beterbiev is powerful but looks slower than Kovalev and would struggle more on actually fighting.

 

ward would only be able to beat him from the outside. totally opposite of kovalev, who outboxed ward from range.

Stevenson makes a lot more sense for Ward from a title and monetary standpoint. I'd love to see Artur take on Sergey with the winner taking on the Stevenson-Ward winner.
