Unlike Canelo, who struggles to stop opponents hes dominating, no hate, he does, hes happy on getting a safe winz weve seen it a few times, he has the power but maybe not the stamina or the fericiousness needed to do it, he also runs out of ideas. Beterbeast on the otherhand being a real human wreckingball will pulverize Smith into bits by the 6th round, Smith will likely shell up and be shy by the 1st round once he feels that power. So Beterbiev willl have a bigger more hydrated undrained Smith infront of him, but will leave no doubt who the King is, the real p4p destroyer!
At the end of the day though, Canelo's resume sends Beterbievs to the shitter. Beterbiev looks impressive against a lot of tin cans with a few guys who were solid competition like Gvozdyk, but Canelo pulled off solid victories against a number of opponents who were, in some way, advantaged over him. He had to go up to 175 to find someone who could actually beat him and only now in his decline after probably 20 solid fights since the Mayweather beatdown are we looking at a possible Benavidez upset.
Regardless of the outcome Beterbiev is better than Canelo H2H. Beter is a problem in ATG LHW fights, honestly. He could lose to Smith though cause he's 39 yrs old..
Smith found out he got the Canelo fight by waiting for the announcement on Twitter, while they played games with him to try to upset his prep. So at least Beterbiev let him know about the fight the decent way.
