Beterbiev would get crushed by Kovalev....

Pascal is one of my favorite fighters. But no, prime Pascal does not maul Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a different breed.

I think Kovalev matches with Beterbiev perfectly,
Kovalev is a boxer that just happens to have very
heavy hands. Kovalev is a slow offensive powerhouse
that gets hit too much. Kovalev will tee off on him
for however long it lasts. Not sure Kovalev stops him
as Beterbiev is built like a tank, but he wins a lopsided fight.

And yes I'm aware of the amateur history before
anyone brings it up.

I think the biggest danger for Kovalev is still Adonis.
Quick feet, atomic left hand. Adonis is a two trick pony
but those two tricks are phenomenal.

There's about a minute of sparring video between them on youtube and every time Beterbiev hits Pascal he backs up 3 steps.

I like Beterbiev but I'm not sold.

Totally agree. He is lethal to all at 175 with the straight left. I don't think anyone takes that shot without it having a serious effect on them no matter who they are. On his own for 1 shot power at light heavy

 

I know people don't like him for one reason or another, but it
is what it is. That left hand is heavy and powerful, whether it lands clean
or not.

 

I think hes 50/50 with any of the other top boys at 175 tbh, good chin or not it don't matter with that power
