Whilst I thought Kovalev won last night, I came away thinking that both Beterbiev and Gvodsyk beat the Andre Ward of last night.
Gvozdyk, Beterbiev and Bivol are the future of the LHW division. I hope that Ward stays active and defends his title against one of them.
No way Gvozdyk can beat Ward now. At least NOW. In the future, who knows, but now he's not mature enough to stand a single chance vs ward. Not a single chance. The same goes for beterbiev. Winning to Ward is a matter of knowledge, a knowledge that you cannot have with 10 fights. Easy as that.
