Beterbieve TOO STIFF/ROBOTIC for Canelo... Canelo beats him no problem...

i cant believe i actually have to explain what ive written to fanboys too stupid to understand what is being discussed. and thats not even the amazing part, the sheer confidence in their own ignorance is astounding.

 

Beterbiev's power is real. He can hurt any man his size if he gets clean shots in.

Beterbiev's "wheel house" is middle to close range. You don't want to be there with Beterbiev because as we saw with Gvodzyk, those shots will take a toll.

Canelo has a good team around him. Very professional. They will see that.

I'd look for Canelo to try to keep it outside and use his jab and legs. He has better movement and is the better outside boxer I believe.

The other possible avenue is to make Beterbiev fight moving backwards because that's something he doesnt get much practice at. Might work but would be dangerous as hell due to Beterbiev's overall strength.


How much mobility and speed will Canelo lose moving up in weight? Typically a fighter loses some but in this age of "dietary supplements" who knows.

Canelo fought Fielding at 168 but there was no serious talk about fighting Smith and whereas Kovalev at LHW is a much tougher assignment than Rocky at 168, I suspect the pattern of stepping up in weight (beyond 160) but not taking on the recognised No1 in the division will be continued if he gets the decision vs Krusher.

Props for taking on Krusher at 175, however he won't stay around for Beterbiev. But then the OP knows this already....

 

Kovalev would beat Beterbiev. Gvodzyk was having real success at range but couldn’t keep Beter honest. Kovalev is much better from range, way better jab and harder power shots. Less fragile also. Beterbiev will have a much harder time getting inside to do his thing.

Canelo is taking on the biggest challenge he can at LHW and his haters can’t handle it.

You just managed to contradict your whole argument —> “if Canelo landed those same shots on any MW....bla bla bla”
Since Gwozdyk is Gwozdyk and only he can land shots like the ones he throws, Canelo cannot replicate them, especially since Gwozdyk is not Golovkin (lol), hence the possibility of Canelo landing those same shots is 0 since Canelo is Canelo and not Gwozdyk.

Beterbiev would lick his chops like a wolf to get at Canelo, Alvarez does most things better than Beterbiev. But he's way to big and strong and would walk Canelo down and destroy him.

Prime Kovalev beats Beterbiev but I wouldnt pick him today. It’s kind of scary how he reacts to punches nowadays, it’s as if he could get hurt by grazing shots too, he is too shaky.

He can box from the outside but he will get hit at some point and I have hard time seeing him stay up from that.
