Let say Beterbiev's promotional problems don't prevent him from fighting short term. Who can we realisticaly expect him to fight for his first title defense? Probably guys like Karo Murat or the likes. Jean-Pascal maybe for the local rivalry. I doubt we can expect anything better. The money just isn't there to get a better opponent.
I think Gvodzyk is #1 challenger for the IBF.. Won't happen though. Sacrificing one for the other.. Money etc It will be a stiff no doubt. I'd like it to be Barrera but it will probably be Murat lol
