No. He's far from glass jawed.. Getting dropped is different to doing a funky chicken. He had no noticeable side effects from that KD & was thinking clearly IMO.. Nice shot too. Johnson landed some bombs & he took them all. If he was stumbling & fumbling & looking goggle eyed then I'd be more inclined to agree..

If it's a glass chin he wouldn't come back and winning the fight. A glass chin like Amir Khan has would mean he get dropped and stays down. His chin isn't the best but far away from being a glass chin.

Look at how ridiculous this post is. How can the average be poor? Shaky suggests worse than average and yet the 'sturdy' mandible is the 'exception rather than the rule.'

I'll say it here. I think Johnson Punches harder than Beterbiev they both ate a lot of shots. Beterbiev looked hurt but he recovered fast. Not a lot of people are going to get off the floor to knock out Johnson.

    No chance at all.

Johnson is maybe 8.5/10 for power punching

Beterbiev is a straight 10/10 IMO.

I mean, that’s how I see it. I guess we will know for sure within the next few years, as neither fighter has fought many, if any, world level fighters.

First KD was legit. He took like 6 steps backwards to make space between himself and the opponent. That's what boxing coaches tell you.

Exactly. Carl Froch got decked a few times in his career yet you could hardly call him chinny. Chinny doesn't mean going down, it means not getting back up.

See some real jerking from many knees over this.

Johnson has power. The Page one looked more to do with balance. Someone heavy handed dropping you doesn't equate to china

Pretty sure it was just Johnson hits ****ing hard, Callum has a good chin too imo and hella heart. Got up twice and was ready to continue both times, and supposedly Beterbiev is the hardest puncher south of HW.

Not ridiculous at all. I clearly noted that there were different gradations of shaky chins. That most fighters have problems with taking a punch to one degree or another should be obvious - otherwise they wouldn't hit the canvas!! A sturdy mandible, one which does not ever shatter, is rare. Think guys like Oliver McCall or George Chuvalo. They are not the average. Guys with shaky chins are.

Everyone at Light Heavyweight is vulnerable.... because its one of the rare occasions where almost everyone in the division not only has power, but terrifying POWAH!!!!!

Beterbiev can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Gvozdyk can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Kovalev can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Smith Jr. can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Johnson can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Stevenson can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Alvarez can KO anybody and be KO'd.
Bivol can KO anybody and be KO'd.

Sadly that leaves a handful that have to rely on their skills, like Jack, Browne, and most likely Yarde, who seems to lack elite power.
