I remember people on here saying he was robbed by browne, and hes a good tough fighter, ive never seen him fight, but it sounds like a decent opponent for artur? Radivoje Kalajdzic
Hot Rod is most likely the best opponent Beterbiev will have faced thus far in his pro run. People are really sleeping on this fight.
He's a dangerous customer for sure, tall, rangy, good skills, packs a big punch too (13 first round KOs) and he was robbed blind against Browne, by both the judges and the ref. This content is protected This content is protected
No that's true. Callum Johnson is a talent and he packs serious power in both hands. You can see and hear how heavy those hooks are of his. Seanie Monaghan says he's shared a ring with a lot of hard punchers, including Beterbiev, and he rates Johnson's power very highly. This content is protected Hot Rod should be undefeated, owns an unofficial win over the Ring Magazine's 4th ranked LHW in Browne, and is both a talent and a dangerous puncher.
That is debatable because Beterbiev got the best of Callum Johnson and I really don't think that Johnson will make another fight like this. I was absolutely impressed with him against Beterbiev, but I don't think he would be so motivated if he faces a worse opposition. You know Beterbiev is one of those fighters that can motivate you to go against him in your best shape ever.
I think this will be Beterbiev's toughest fight thus far, over the Callum one. Kalajdzic will probably end up in the "what if" category, due to him being very talented but in a very strong era and with the "wrong" nationality. And yes, the Browne fight was as blatant as if it would have happened in Germany, fans would bring it up every single day.
