...I've pinned guys as much as 420 pounds at 155 pounds , though there's weight classes for a reason, I've only been over powered once with no technique and that was to the P4P best arm wrestler in the world ( Russian name ) who was 150 pounds and he had wins over John Brzenk ( over the top ) !

Beterbiev uses arm wrestling training , it helps because strong wrists and Forearm is pivotal , I've said it for 20 years. Certainly helps ,and I can see his tendon strength is very good .It's important to absorb the energy coming back into your arm hitting solid object. This is over looked , you can hit harder by not breaking anything or straining.

 

Certainly advantage to bc grappling is knowing balance. Unfortunately was out i of sports most my growing years bc of health issues but recently tied someone who went on to win a national grappling event / Jujitsu ....I turn 45 today and will actually train for an event next time. He was 25 i was 43.

I think people question his chin because he's a beast in other areas and I suppose its maybe a slight chink in his armour if there is one. I thought he was stung in his last fight but disguised it by pouring it on but the usual power wasn't there for a bit. Like you've pointed out already, its heaped full of bangers at 175 and its f all getting hurt now and again is it
