Pharoah, Forrest was not at all an easy pick, many sharps went against him, and big. You're either lying about how confident you were, or were foolishly overconfident and got bailed out. This was a VERY tough fight to handicap, since noone knew what Forrest was capable of, and Mora had gained the momentum in the latter half of the first fight. How often does a fighter admit he's old, or shot? Forrest's comments about being flat and overtraining could have been total bullsh t.

I was going for no play until I noticed how Forrest's demeanor before this fight so closely mimiced his behaviour before his best performances. In the first Mora fight, Forrest was uncharacteristically angry, trash-talking, serious, and tense. It seemed like he wanted to intimidate Mora from the start and make him give up, as if Forrest wasn't confident in his physical self, so he had to use his psychological self to win.

Paulie by decision is a no-brainer, everyone will be on it, even if you expect Paulie to lose.

I was so confident about this pick. Based on their first fight i saw that Forrest could come in just a little bit better and he would beat Mora, and when i saw that the rematch was set, i knew Forrest would be better prepared. I went big on the Forrest pick. I think i even mentioned it in another thread.

Foolishly confident? no. Foolishly confident was when i went big on Kessler to beat Calzaghe.

Hi Marcus, I use betfair for live betting mostly. It helps if you know which fighters start strong and which fighters finish strong. I bet Margarito after rd5 and Clottey after rd6 with better odds than pre-fight. Betfair does often have lines differing from American books, especially regarding UK bouts.

I consult many people about bets and read tons of predictions and analysis, it's easiest to do it on forums rather than PMing everyone. You should check out some boxing betting forums.

Before big weekends, we can also have threads here strictly dedicated to betting and serious insight, not just fan discussion.
