Like comparing apples and oranges, both usually fell short when put with fast company but Young beat Foreman and has a much better resume so no contest really.
Another Tua thread? Anyways, Tua was the better fighter. More power, better chin, more consistency Legacy wise, Young DID beat Foreman (mentally shot, overweight Foreman) but otherwise has a poor resume. Tua gave Ike Ibeabuchi a war, as well as beat Ruiz and Rahman. No question that Young was better defensively but overall I'd go with Tua.
You have to realise, Tua isn't a normal man, and only the posters on Classic can really realize this.
Young has nothing to keep the tank like Tua off of him. Pitty pat punching cuties are no match for the iron chinned Somoan punching machine. See what David Tua did to Chris Byr.......umm scratch that.
I'm genuinely surprised, how 1 sided a poll this is in favor of the 38-18 fighter when legacy is a factor I'd favor a peak Young in a fight (mostly due to styles, as rare as that argument is from me), but come on....
