Better All-Around Fighter: Primo Carnera or Riddick Bowe?

This is a fair summary.

 

It's a pretty damning one imo.

 

Sigh, it's too true. Like I said, it makes me mad every time I think about it. Bowe should have been subservient to Great Master Futch in all ways...not many trainers were as good, let alone better.

Carnera was big, and technically good.

Give him the power of Wlad, or the chin of Bowe, and he would have been very hard to beat.

 

That said, I imagine Bowe's overhand right would have knocked Carnera off his meatball (I'm Italian, so I'm allowed to say that lol).

 

You might well be right, but the question was who was the better all round technician.

That goes to Carnera.
