For the record, are there any posters who *changed their minds* about Carnera, either for better or worse, as a result of these threads?

    Silly question.
It´s like if anyone of the Equality-Gang had to put down their religion. Would go along with dozens of wrong eqations to overcome and reorganize inside a stricken network of still recalled fairytales.

Only InMemoryofJakeLamota's trolling and our knee jerk reactions to it has kept this thread alive.

My mind has been changed. This threads surpasses the 23 + pages arguing Ali’s height (6’2.5” - 6’3”) as the GOAT THREAD. I frankly didn’t dig in because of its daft premise. It is genius!

Let me assure you he was 100% serious. Beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I am amazed. Because of limited time I didn’t dig into this thread. It is like an alternative universe ! Boxing’s version of flat earthers.

Wrong again JT. I was indeed being 100% ironic sir.

The Superheavyweights are but a very small fraction from the total of the decent heavyweight champions. Are they not? Isn’t this a true statement?

Seems most of the frustration on this thread has been with those who vehemently refuse to embrace Primo among that small fraction whilst at the same time swooning over the merits of any half decent Superheavyweight.

The flat earthers being the ones who love, embrace and soon over giant fighters of the present but reject Primo of the past.

The giant champions of the past and giant champions of the present are either two cheeks of the same backside or they are both equally as worthy.

I give you a hint: The last 30 years very dominated by: AJ/Wilder, Wlad, Vitali, Lennox Lewis and Riddick Bowe. Before was a trimmed 218lb man build like a fireplug, a man that could carry 230 and still don´t look fat at 5'11", who defended against SIX OUT OF NINE MEN who where either 6'4" 220lb plus or at 228lb like Frank Bruno. Before was Holmes, who didn´t need to defend against a 230lb retired boxer-preacher, a guy who´s blitzkrieg had been delayed by the greatest himself.
