You're a nonsense, but you must know that, you've been told often enough!

There is nothing nonsensical about being able to back up a theory using facts and boxing knowledge. You cannot dispute this. Do not forget I have never been banned, booted or reincarnated as a tonto either. Take that onboard and hold onto it.

Here's a question, in looking at the footage of both, how can you not determine Bowe was the better all around fighter?

Bowe was a nice smooth boxer. I liked him. That’s why I voted for the third option.

So far as resume goes, Carnera when he reached championship level, was very solid. He might not have beaten a Holyfield type but Primo stands up to scrutiny. A lot of endorsements from boxers and champions to back him up.

Bowe only really has the Holyfield wins going for him. He never dominated and therefore cannot really over shadow Carnera type champions.

As I have said previously, it is only a matter of time, before somebody writes a scholarly rehabilitation of Carnera!

When that happens, the fables of the past, will find themselves on trial for their lives!

But for now we have to jog along with the reporters and boxing writers who saw him fight in France in the Salle Wagram and the hick towns of the US guys like Gallico and Shulberg who had their characters assassinated on here by Carnera revisionists.

It was the best of times,
it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom,
it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief,
it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light,
it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope,
it was the winter of despair,

we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way— in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
