Better All Around Fighter: Riddick Bowe or Vitali Klitschko?

Hide won the first two rounds on my card, schmuck. Vitali could box up close no problem, you ask anyone who's sparred him in multiple camps and he mixed it up. You truly are deluded if you think Golota is on the same page as Vitali never mind better. Just check the Lewis fight you clod. It's close between you and Gee for biggest t ard on esb.

WTF does Lewis vs Golota have to do with anything? That Lewis was fast , young , dynamic and explosive. The Vitali Lewis was old fat and could barely lug himself around the ring.
What point does that make? You must understand that im not no your level of stupid.

Look how shot 40 year old Golota had no trouble out boxing Byrd , but prime Vitali had so much trouble with him , he ended up popping out his shoulder before quitting on his stool.

Golota was able to handle Byrd because he put punches together in the pocket let. Vitali can only punch one way and thats straight forward from a distance.
Its not like his inside game was poor and could be improved , he had NO inside game whatsoever. NONE. Empty. Not there.

Bowe was the best inside fighting super heavyweight of all time. Tyson Fury directly behind him.

Vitali was a great against D and C levellers. He wasn't elite and has nothing on Bowe in the skills department.

 

Bowe didnt throw straight punches,he LOOPED all his shots outside a jab. Vitali threw more variety and perfect punches at times,he really mixed it all up add the footwork vs flat heavy footed Bowe? What Bowe did better was mix it up on the inside to outside better...does this make him the better boxer?

vitali also wouldnt have had difficulties with long range jabbers( Golota) the best fighter for the most part handles guys his own size.

 

Vitali did not have a perfect punch to his entire arsenal which only consisted of two shots. Two shots is all he had and he couldn't even perfect them.
The straight right was like a push jab thrown with poor technique. No snap , no speed and wasn't straight , it had a slight round house angle on it.

There's a reason Vitali could never knock anybody out despite being planted on the canvas against guys who walked towards him in a straight line.
His technique was awful. Punches were thrown form the waist up , no shoulder or trunk rotation. All slappy arm punches he only got away with throwing since his opposition was so bad.
Its not just happenstance he lost to the two best guys he ever fought.

Saying he has a higher skill lever than Bowe , whats this based off? What fight am i meant to be looking at?

 

Let me put it this way... Bowe was the more skilled fighter with the better arsenal at his disposal, but I would pick Vitali to beat more HW throughout history.

 

Lemme see...one guy dominated until his 40s barely losing a single round, the other was so easy to hit he had severe brain damage by his late 20s.

 

Riddick Bowe was more skilled in a traditional boxing sense.

Vitali had a poor punching technique, he threw mostly arm punches and he used his height and reach advantage
in an awkward fighting style with a lean back defense and accumulative arm punching.

Vitali was not very skillful but he was hard to handle for anyone, mostly because of the way he used his height
and reach advantage and his granite chin, if Vitali would have been only 6ft 4, he would have been only an
average fighter, that's how skillful he was, nothing special.

He is probably top 5 h2h because of how hard he is to handle for anyone, especially for fighters under 6ft 5 but
not because he is one of the most skillful fighters of all time.

Overall his skill level is overrated, he is one of the fighters who became from underrated to overrated over the
years.

 

I agree, Bowe was just better, and I saw Bowe brawl with Holyfield and win. He'd beat Vitali

 

how can you make a case for vitali if we are talking about ALL AROUND?

vitali has no punch variety, 1-2 is basically all he had
he has no inside game
his defense is basically leaning back
bad punching technique, no leverage- arm punches

knows only one way to fight- outside throwing 1-2 all night long. like an amateur really.

compared to bowe who is the best schooled shw all time, like a bigger joe louis

Vitali's boxing IQ was about 50 points higher than Bowe's. That's the real difference.

 

How was it 50 points higher? Vitali didn't do anything Gonzalez couldn't do that thats a fact.

Gonzales would have no problem beating Vitali best opponents . That consisted of Peter and Arroela

Discussing actual boxing with me will always prove your down fall as i can tell you EXACTLY how many things vitali did better besides KNOWING how to NOT lose better...he had these skills and attributes that bowe didnt....thats why Bowe avoided Lewis in HIS own era.....

the REAL funny thing is Vitali took a page from Ali in the lean back counter fight style...except hes 4 inches taller and stronger and can punch at much more angles than going straight back...yet you will say Ali is the best fighter ever in his method ???lol

6'7 Vitali with a 79' reach got out jabbed and LOST against 6'0 Byrd with a 74' reach.

Vitali went the distance with useless bum Kevin Johnson in a fight is total punch connect rate was an abysmal 298/1013

Chisora moved Vitali from pillar to post over the 12 round distance. David Haye blasted Chisora out of there in 5 rounds.

Anybody could beat Vitali's best wins and they did.

Arreola was beaten worse by Stiverne

Peter was beaten worse by Robert Hilenius.

Bowe has the best HW victory since the early 90's.. Vitali doesn't have a win that can be included in a top 20 list.

Bowe skills are proven at a higher level.
