Depends a little on what you're after. Lara's outside game and defense is clearly better than Garcia's, but he has no inside game at all and isn't very diverse with his offense. Garcia has also proven his ability against a higher standard of competition. So for me, it's Garcia.

Garcia boxing skills are decent .

That's it . Hes not much of a boxer .

Lara possesses EXCELLENT boxing skills .

I'd give Lara the slight edge because of his versitility, still Danny has a solid all around game....nothing outstanding about the guy other than a strong will, strong heart, strong chin and determination. Lara is a rare breed of course, he's a smooth operator when he's on his A game.

Garcia. Lara is overrated, because he is from cuba.

Garcia and I'm not a fan of his, but he has better fundamentals, he was outboxed by Herrera who is better than both of them.
Garcia has performed better on the grand stage repeatedly, whereas Lara tends to fail everytime he steps up, all he has is his counters, and he is slightly slick, but not slick enough to escape Angulo. Molina smothered and outboxed him, he just replicated Martinez's lefts on Williams, only he didn't have the power stop PWill, Austin fought a bad fight.

    Lara......and its not even close....

Danny closes his eyes and swings for the fences when he's countering.....

I'm a fan of both guys but neither has the greatest style but Lara is a fantastic boxer and Danny can be an exciting fighter when hes properly prepared

I can show you countless images of better fighters than Danny BLINKING while throwing a punch. Fool.

Danny talked about the reason why he dips his head low when throwing that shot.

  14. Garcia's not built to be a boxer, his body type of more of a slugger.

That's why I don't think he deserves a fight with Floyd. The fighter that will beat Floyd has to be athletic first.
