    um how is it irrelevant? PED's stands for performance enhancing drugs thus they obviously contributed to chael sonnen nearly winning the fight? :think

    Of course the PEDs are highly relevant, I was referring to your earlier remark which implied that Anderson allowed himself to be held down and dominated so he could sneak in a late sub as a tribute to the Large Nog.

    If an Anderson Silva without injured ribs fights a Sonnen who has been unable to pump himself full of testosterone, I believe Anderson will knock him out. He's a vastly superior fighter.

    However, this does not mean that the fight they did have was some Anderson masterpiece that he was in control of, and won his way when he wanted to. That is complete garbage as I see it.
