Better career degale or groves

    Now they are both nearly done who has done better?
    Groves 4 defeats. Top 5 wins: Degale, Eubank, Chudinov, Murray and Anderson
    Degale 2defeats. Top 5 wins: Dirrell, Bute, Truax,Gonzales and Periban. Plus Jack draw

    My choice would be Groves although more defeats and Degale has travelled. Pretty similar. I don’t put much on the Degale loss to Groves as I had it a draw.
    Thoughts?

    It is close
    And three of Georgie boys best wins are really middleweights
    So I'm leaning to degale and groves degale was razor close
    Losses should not make a great career there negatives

    I agree groves but there was a time (very briefly) where Degale was very hot.

    Groves for me. Sometimes it’s not always about who you beat but also the fact he was involved in two of the bigger fights in British history. Probably earnt significantly more too.

    Yeah. Granted he lost them. But as a fighter 2 big fights. A fight at Wembley, world championship and beat de gale. I like both but would take Groves career over de gales. Plus groves made his money, de gale is now chasing the payday to retire

    Groves really. Groves not only fought better (and lost to them) but he knew how to sell a fight to a local crowd too.

    but Chunky fought good opps too, dont get me wrong, they both aimed high for long periods of their careers.

    but to be fair , neither is finished yet. we should wait n see, one or both may make a fool of this thread.
