You got to put his resume in perspective.

He started out at 160 and competed on a regular basis against Top Heavyweight contenders. (Holyfield (no 5 RING), Ruiz, Peter, and Rahman.

Has there ever been somebody wo did this?

He also defeated some fringe contenders like Oquendo, Guinn and Booker. Very respectable for a former middleweight

LOL. Any fool who picked the Mayweather option must be shooting Pickle Juice straight into their veins.
Toney has fought from Middleweight to Heavyweight and faced most of the best boxers in the biz.
Perhaps if was a little older and existed in the SRL era he may have faced better opposition to be in the James Toney league.

If Toney was on steroids, all of his accomplishments are questionable and void.

Resume wise Floyd is clearly ahead.

What do you have to do to get banned for trolling on this site ? Obvious and consistent troll - the poll option choices is evidence enough.

Not saying Floyd is better than Toney, but you're looking at their resumes from different perspectives and it's obvious.

Two or three very good wins on Toney's record do not make up for the cluster**** of losses, draws, and crappy opponents.

And that's before we even get to the steroids issue which puts a great big asterisk against the whole thing anyway.

Those 2 or 3 good wins basically out shine all of Floyd's opponents!

And he achieved a ton before he was popped so please lets not to there !
