Who did ggg beat to make him better than froch? Or Kessler or even kovalev? Gg is not more proven than those guys.
You mean the man who never dared to be great who spent years in a dead division feasting on no hopers like wade and rosado when better fighters like ward were only 1 weight class away? A guy who called out a former ww in canelo wanted mexican style and got beat up and backed up and lost. Some warrior. Ward on the other hand entered the super 6 a big underdog while guys lile Kessler and Abraham were the co- favorites and won the whole thing going away. He tries to fight ggg but ggg hid in the bathroom anytime ward mentioned his name. He couldnt get ggg so he moves up daring to be great again taking on a killer in kovalev a guy im sure you said he would duck and if he fought him picked him to get stopped. Ward bullied the bully and stopped kovalev. There's only 1 warrior here and thats andre ward whose resume and accomplishments are 100000000 light years greater than ggg and ggg will be remembered as a overhyped guy who once he stepped up his comp his power and kos disappeared.
@Birmingham -Lara called out Golovkin for years. -Trout called out Golovkin as well. -Ward was waiting for him at 168. -Jacobs wanted the rematch but got ignored. -Derevyachenko was his mando but G opted to get stripped instead. -Charlo got told no because he wasn't "popular" enough. -Andrade is a Southpaw, we don't fight southpaws, unless they are bums. But but, I can't find a decent opponent. -GGG
Kessler or Kovalev are not better than GGG, also Ward already lost to Kovalev. Froch faced better competition but I think that also is Overrated.
Kessler was a darn good top contender. But these guys act like he was some elite level fighter w/ a wonderful resume. Kessler's not very much higher a level than Austin Trout IMO.
They overrate Kessler because he lost to Ward, so they prop him up like some GREAT. They are so transparent.
Wrong! It was a close fight and Ward got the decision. Is there corruption in every close fight? Or just when the fighter you prefer doesn't get the decision.
The wrong person won, yes corruption and almost everyone saw Kovalev win, so it was a wrong decision.
You overrate Jacobs because GGG beat him. Kessler was better than Jacobs and at one point in his career was a top 10 P4P fighter Jacobs has never been that. Kessler is also borderline HOF he was elite and is Calzaghe's best win.
