I think Hatton, for one important reason.

Cotto and Hatton are both pressure fighters. Cotto is smoother, more stylish a boxer. He walks you down but uses great movement around the ring at the same time. Incredible body attack, as with Hatton. Cotto is probably the harder puncher, as well.

But IMO, if Cotto fights Floyd, he will lose. Floyd simply jumps in-out-in-out, and will potshot the guy for most of the fight. He's not stupid enough to wait for Cotto to do what he does.

The key to beating Floyd, IMO, is footspeed. Hatton has VERY fast feet and moves forward very quickly. If he keeps a high pace fight and runs PBF down, I think it will be an extremely competive fight.

Wrong. If what you say is true, Floyd's closest fights wouldn't have been against Castillo and a 34 year old De La Hoya. Neither guy is particularly fast on their feet. But anyway, you need to realize footspeed doesn't mean **** if you don't know how to cut off the ring. And that's something Cotto knows how to do. If anyone is to be potshotted against Floyd, it would be Hatton.
