That's your opinion, which I disagree with! Offense in boxing is the most important aspect in boxing and Golovkin is SIGNIFICANTLY more skilled than Crawford offensively. He has a much better jab. Has a much better probing game. Has a much better feinting game. Is a superior pressure fighter and so forth so on.

Nonsense. Better jab is arguable but his offense isn't better he can't switch hit he can't fight at more ranges either nor is he a better counter puncher. WTF are you talking about? When have you seen Crawford get outboxed? I have seen GGG get outboxed by Brook Canelo and at times by Jacobs. Being a superior pressure fighter has nothing to do with it. Crawford is more of a boxer puncher anyway and his offense is more complete than GGG's. Also if both GGG and Crawford were the same size and the same age the fight wouldn't even be worth talking about because Crawford would box circles around his ass and clown him.

GGG isn't more skilled because his skill level doesn't translate with ability to move up in weight like Crawford can. How many weight classes has GGG moved up to? This is the same GGG who ran like a scalded dog anytime someone mentioned him fighting light punching Ward at 168 only 1 weight class up.

GGG has moved up. He was fighting in lower weight divisions when in the amateurs. And when he joined the pros, he was fully grown and didn't need to move up any more because his body was no longer growing anymore. Whereas when Crawford turned pro, his body was still growing so he was still able to move up in weight.

I don't see how that has anything to do with boxing skills. A boxer should fight whatever weight division he feels most comfortable and that's it. If he can make the weight safely and healthily and if it's his healthiest weight division, then there's no reason for him to move up.

Being able to switch doesn't make one more skilled. Otherwise, according to your logic, Daniel Jacobs is more skilled than Lomachenko because he can switch stance whilst Lomachenko doesn't. Golovkin doesn't need to switch, because he is already skilled as he is in the orthodox stance.

Gamboa was out-boxing Crawford for multiple rounds. Golovkin is the far superior offensively skilled boxer. It isn't even a contest! Better jab (Without a doubt). Better ring cutting skills. Better pressure fighting skills. Better punch technique and mechanics. Better feinting and probing skills. I have no doubt that Golovkin is the more skilled boxer. You can have your opinion but I don't agree with you. If I were to choose between Crawford's and Golovkin's style to employ as a boxer, I would definitely go for Golovkin because he is more of a minimalist and effortless.

Crawford has a better shot to beat GGG than Loma has vs Crawford.

In reference to Pimp's recent post about GGG "running like a scalded dog" when Ward was mentioned, that HAD to be sarcasm. Ward most likely would have won but neither guy ran from or towards that fight, let's be honest. Also, nobody is "clowning" the prime (2012-2015) GGG, all due respect to Bud.

Crawford and Lomachenko are currently prime while Golovkin is very past prime. Past prime guys beating prime p4pers has happened exactly 6 times before. Golovkin still has a better than usual chance to beat Crawford being so strong and two natural weight classes bigger but I'd bet on Crawford at this point.

Crawford has the better chance in my opinion. I know he can be on his horse sticking and moving for a full 12 rounds. Possibly avoiding any serious Golovkin heat for the duration, while countering and pot shotting him. Especially seeing how one dimensional Golovkin's attack was against Canelo. On the other hand, Crawford has very good legs, and top notch boxing skills, while also being a tad bit taller than Lomachenko. Lomachenko wouldn't out point fight/outbox Crawford, and he would probably get beat up on the inside. There is no area where I see Lomachenko having success against Crawford. While there is an area where I could see Crawford having success against Golovkin.

    For what it's worth...

Crawford started 4 divisions south of where Golovkin started. He just had his first fight in the division two south of where Golovkin still sits.

Lomo started two divisions south of where Crawford started. He just had his first fight in the division two south of where Crawford currently sits.
