Cintron has obviously a better chin.

    Cotto is a better fighter.

The day I see Cintron on ***** street from a light hitting lighweight, then I will say their chins are equal.

I guess physically they are equally weak, Cintron Mentally might be weaker than Cotto in the sense that when things are not going well for him he is ready to quit. Cotto will keep trying a little longer wether this is related to Cottos greater skill or that Cintron has less heart is the question. I think Cottos skill prevented him from going down as soon as Cintron. I think had Cintron enjoyed the success that Cotto did he would have survived.

Maybe physically Cotto is the more fragile guy, while mentally Cintron is much weaker. This again may be relative to Cottos greater skill, Im almost tempted to say Cotto is ****ing weak. I just dont know? we will see the jury is out on Cotto as far as Im concerned.

It's hard to call, but I will have to go with Cintron.

The only reason Kermit didn't last as long as Cotto did against Margo his willing to fight toe to toe against the Tornado. Critics of Cintron say the puncher lacks heart, but if that were the case he wouldn't of been so willing to get in the ring as quick as he did against his nemesis again.
Cotto knew his chin wasn't the sturdiest and avoided a toe to toe fight, until Margo took his legs out along with his breathing, and gave him no other option.
I've seen Cotto on wobbly legs plenty of times as well as resort to running. I could be wrong but I haven't seen Cintron hurt other than the Margo bouts.

Sure Cotto fought the better opposition, and got rocked but recovered well to win (except against Margo as we know). Only way to know for sure is putting them against each other.

    Great stuff.
I'm still undecided, I'd like to see this fight happen.

I didn't see Cotto crying after his loss against Margarito!!!

    ( Cintron is mentally weaker....he literally cried...embarrassing )

some people here seem to be confused about cotto's chin......because his chain didn't give out in the maragarito fight, he was hurt....but he was never knocked down, he took a knee and was just broken down, physically and mentally......not to say that his chin is iron clad, but c'mon now........and as for cintron, umm....... it's hard to say, he's fought C to low B class opponents aside from margarito.....so i cant really judge his chin that much, but.......i say heart goes hand and hand with chin, and Cintrons heart is the equivalent of Zab's....so i'll go with Cotto

I voted Cintron as having the better chin, but once he's hurt that's it, whereas Cotto is able to recover quickly a lot of the time and put together an offense to delay the stoppage or negate it completely (see Torres fight). I've seen Cotto hurt a lot more than Cintron by shots to the chin though.

Ask me who the tougher and harder guy to keep down is and that's easy, Cotto is much tougher.

Cintron stood toe to toe with Margs thats why he went down faster if he ran like Cotto im sure he lasts alot longer but he was actualy toe to toe in both fights something I doubt Cotto would or could do with Margs

If Cotto stands toe to toe with Margs I say he goes 4 rounds at best

Cintron cleary has the superior chin and is physically superior in general. He's never been on ***** street like Cotto has in many fights despite facing big punchers like Teddy Reid, Suarez and Margarito x 2. Kermit signing up for the rematch showed that he was going to face his demons and went out on his shield while going toe to toe with Margo in the end. He just doesn't cope well with intense pressure but then again who does?

To Cotto's credit he took on someone who was a terrible style matchup and the chance of getting KTFO was quite high so I have to applaud the guy. One thing I did notice is that Cotto's chin is much better than I thought at 147. I figured it would be over in the 7th when he got hurt badly with around 2 minutes left. His mental toughness is what allowed him to survive until the 11th.
