There are a lot of factors to be taken into accounts fo KO's or KD's. That was all I was getting at. But the uber-******ed Floyd fanboys just love the simple and easy explanation. I am glad to see you aren't like these assholes. I have no qualms disagreeing with people who can post their reasoning, but most of these floyd fans just seem either incapable of doing that, or are too much up in Floyd's ass.

Case in point, vecarrow above. Most can't even form an educated reposnse.

 

THE KNOCKDOWN - CHIN or LEGS

but it is a question of balance and the deciding factor may be

They both have great chins.
One has guided one to a 38-7 record.
One has guided the other to a 41-0 record.


Clearly chin doesn't just constitute getting KO'd or KD'd, but rather all aspects of "facial punch resistance." Example: If Margarito's chin is so legendary, he would have easily stood up and walked through Paul Williams' volume shots to take control of that fight. Or he wouldn't have looked so brain dead and every time Pacquiao or Mosley landed a punch, unable to get right back to the game plan.

Besides, isn't it safe to say that having loaded wraps forced his opposition to fight differently than would have without loaded wraps and thus, changing the entire course of each of his fights. Therefore, we really don't know how Margarito's chin would have held up against his killer resume of power punchers (took off the defeats and Cotto + Cintron): Roberto Garcia, Golden Johnson, Joshua Clottey, Manuel Gomez, Sebas Lujan, Hercules Kyvelos, Andrew Lewis, Danny Perez, Daniel Santos, and Antonio Diaz. Oooh, Pacquiao and Mayweather would've been dropped SO many times by that killer lineup. Just because he gets punched in the face over and over and over and over again without getting KO'd does not make him one of the best chins of all time, sorry.

If Floyd could imitate Margo's fighting style and lousy defense, from then we can compare.

Obviously Margarito, but with his fighting style you need to have a good chin to get far with it. Floyd is far far superior in nearly every other area but he'd get knocked the **** out if he tried to fight like Margarito

 

Mosley hit Floyd cleanly twice and he was hurt badly each time. Mosley and Pac both dished out ungodly amounts of beatdown to Margarito and he only went down in one of those fights after nine rounds of mandibular abuse.
