Agreed. As Toney got bigger, the muscles in his neck became stronger. Comparing them at MW is the only way to compare them and Hagler was never rocked, while Toney has been down.

I think Toney's legendary defense protected his chin more than Hagler who used his chin to allow him to trade and land on other guys.

 

Hagler would have been brutalized at heavyweight.
