Better Chin Marciano or Dempsey?

    Nothing in it. Dempsey had the better cut resistant skin , that's for sure. I'll make a couple of comparison threads for the folks.

    Marciano had the better chin.

    Fireman Flynn took out JD in one round. Sudenberg had Dempsey down a few times. Sharkey had Dempsey rocked and Tunney clearly hurt him.

    Marciano was only down twice vs skilled guys and got up / recovered quickly.

    Has to be Marciano. I can't see it any other way. If there's one department where Rocky is clearly ahead of Dempsey it's in chin. The rest is debatable ...
