Who do you think displayed a better chin in your opinion? Both guys have taken some hard shots from good punchers and were never stopped in their career.

I know a lot of people always bring up Marvin Hagler when it comes to the iron chin department but I'm surprised not so many mention Mike McCallum. The same guy who has taken hits against the likes of Curry, Toney, Jones Jr, and Julian Jackson.

I'd say McCallum do to taking Julian Jackson's best shot, and have a run at light-heavyweight.

Interesting question. Will have to consider this very carefully. Both seemed to take hard shots and not even flinch

McCallum got under the radar generally! He was one of the best all round fighters I have ever seen.
Hagler was "King of the Chins" but McCallum was not far behind. Two of my all time favourite fighters.

Hagler, easily. It's not even debatable really.

McCallum could be stunned, and hurt far easier than Hagler. Prime example, Donald Curry badly buckled him, and damn near dropped him with one right hand.

Don't get me wrong, McCallum had an EXCELLENT chin, but it wasn't inhuman like Hagler's chin was. He could be hurt. Hagler was never seriously hurt in his entire career. Hearns STUNNED him early in the first round of their war, but that's the closest he ever came to being hurt.

Hagler's chin was insane. McCallum's chin showed some sanity at times.

Mccallum woulda embarrassed hagler. Forget about who had a better chin, hAgler ducked mccallum for good reason.

Hagler never ducked McCallum. Regardless of what McCallum claims now, he wasn't even a blip on Hagler's radar and there was never any serious talk of the fight.

hagler didn't duck anyone he was the one you ducked
Talented as mcallum was, he was a natural light middle and hagler had annihilated the entire middleweight division on his own.

    Both had great chins.

Hagler took shots from Hearns, Duran, Mugabi, Leonard, and others.

McCallum took shots from Jackson, Curry, Toney x3, Watson, Harding, Jones, and others.
