sorry about the 4564654321.2657464321.134 thread about these two, but reading the other thread about these 2 in a lift got me wondering. for all my american brothers and sisters lift=elevator here in the united of kingdoms :good
Pac has a better chin. He gets git more regularly with power shots, and hasn't shown signs of being seriously hurt. Mayweather, on the other hand, has his defence to thank for never tasting the canvas. Not his chin. The few times where he has been hit cleanly by good punchers, he's been hurt and rocked badly.
Totally agree with Floyds not being tested properly apart from that one time, but then you have to argue has manny been hit with anything that big as IMO shane is one of the biggest punchers at the weight and those shots landed clean. I have a feeling Floyd can take a lot of punishment and that his chin is above average, but its just so hard to say going on such a small amount of evidence throughout his career. He gets caught but its hardly clean or its just one big shot and he holds until he is clear. However its a fact that Manny has an above average chin as he takes shots all day long.
3rd round of Pacquiao/Cotto Cotto lands a haymaker on Pacquiao but Pacquiao walks through it like it was nothing.
Pac has the better chin and already been tested a lot of times, as to Floyd being known a defensive fighter, still those few accounted clean shots he got already has shown chin vulnerability.
Floyd was dropped by Judah but trusty friend Steele was there to look the other way. Maybe he was in competition with Cortez to earns Floyd's respect.
What logic is that? Hector Camacho has never been stopped Lamotta has Camacho's chin >>> Lamotta's chin Chris Areola has never officially been knocked down. Marciano has. Areola's chin >>> Marciano's chin See how that logic works.
remember the poster whipdatass claiming that floyd has the better chin than margarito because mosley stopped margo while floyd was not stopped.
