Floyd was never really a combination puncher. He was always into potshotting / throwing singles, though sometimes he'd throw them in succession. Take the Gatti fight for example. He's never been a fluid combination puncher tho - like a Marquez or Pacquiao.


I'd give Broner credit for actually throwing some nice / varied combinations on the inside. That's one thing he might be better at then Floyd.

 

Floyd can throw moar combinations when he was younger.

At the stage of Broner's carrer, when Floyd was there he would be able to have moar of that defensive presence, but still be able to throw nice combinations.

If they were to fight at that point, Floyd would whoop that AZZ like he would've done Margarito(e)
