I agree. At 160, outside of Golovkin and Jacobs, the drop off his fairly steep. Golovkin could only dream of being in a division that had such talent as 154. It will be interesting to see if he fights any of the guys after they move up.

low level fighters, bums and tomato cans are the top mw fighters

thats why 160 is known as the bumland division of boxing

    154 is a little better

Don't think there is much in it but slight edge to 154 lbs.

Ring magazine top 10 for both for comparison:

    1 Golovkin
    2 Daniel Jacobs
    3 Saunders
    4 Lemieux
    5 Lee
    6 Eubank
    7 Quillin
    8 Geale
    9 Ndam
    10 Khurtsidze

Canelo ranked at Middleweight but next fight at 154 lbs.
    1 Lara
    2 Charlo
    3 Cotto
    4 Jermell
    5 Andrade
    6 Trout
    7 Williams
    8 Smith
    9 MARTIROSYAN

They still rank Broner at 140 when he has moved up to 147. Can't be too reliable.

154 hands down anyone who says 160 doesn't know **** about boxing and should be banned for the sake of the forum.

How can we really know how good the top fighters are at 154 if they don't fight each other?

154 is much better and deeper than 160. The fighters are about to start facing each other JRock has a fight with one of the Charlo twins lined up for starters.

We'll talk then. Right now the only guys any of the top 5 at 154 have faced are Trout and Martirosyan.

This. If those top guys at 154 haven´t fought each other it seems a bit silly to compare 154 to 160. IMO 160 has better and more proven fighters. I could see Andrade proving himself top 5 worthy at 160. Others will fall against Jacobs, Saunders and Lemieux. And I´m not saying 154 doesn´t have talent or boxing skills. Both are pretty good divisions at the moment.

Where's Canelo in the 154lbs list? That is just picking and choosing what you want to see. Canelo is fighting for a 154 strap again next?

I was using the rings top 10. Not picking and choosing. I personally don't believe Canelo stays at 154.
