Better counter puncher: Pernell Whitaker or James Toney

    At their best who do you think was much better at countering their opponents? Tough one to call. :think

    uhm...whitaker is a better boxer throws more punches so with his workrate coupled with his freakish ability to get out of the way and counter it would look like he lands more counters.


    but it's got to be toney. that's all he does.paw, slip, pressure, creep up to guy and then stay in the pocket to throw right crosses and left hook while he stays locked up behind his shoulder so any other punches that come back will be blocked and allow him to throw another counter.
