better defense hopkins or floyd?

Funny but Floyds defense was always better when Sr was in his corner ..

 

Hopkins has been hurt and knocked down before twice in the same fight. It's in that South America fight where he got a Draw

 

Pascalnalso dropped him but in his defense he is ove 40.

Floyd's defense is on a different level. Hopkins has to fight extraordinarily negative. Excess movement. Excess holding. Dirty tactics.

 

Hopkins is better , more well rounded in every category. Defensively hes more versatile. Footwork is on another level. Floyd is all shoulder roll defense. Hopkins can do that and just about every other trick.

That's bc he was fighting a southpaw. 99% of the time he's going into the same shoulder roll defense. Hopkins has shown a lot more versatility then that. He's just lacked the physical talents that Floyd has. Ask yourself could Floyd go onto 50 and keep from being hit like Hopkins?

honestly, I hate to sound like Floyd in how I say this but if a guy is 44-0 and Hopkins is 53-6-2 who has better defense? And when Hopkins had 44 fights his record was 41-2-1. Not saying Floyd is greater, since he has not fought the guy Hopkins did after Tito, but the records speak for themselves. The ironic thing is both guys handpick and do it very well.

 

Put Void into a ring with Vitali or Vladimir Klitschko and see how good his defense is........................either Klitschko by knockout easily. If Void is the best fighter in the world, he must prove it by beating a Klitschko. Void fans claim that Void would knock out Vitali or Vlad, but Hell, Void could not knock a featherweight out with his best right hand....................Void is void and Void is not the best fighter on the planet, The Klitschkos are....................Vlad will be fighting Olympic Gold medalist Povetkin next, 60,000 fans at ringside, Void can't draw that many at ringside. Vitali has the highest knockout percentage in heavyweight champion boxing history and Vlad is not far behind. Vlad had one fight where he drew 65,000 fans.................HBO can't stop EPIX from showing Klitschko fights on EPIX, they can't do anything about it. The boycott by USTV is not working. Fans still know who they are and they are making good money. Klitschkos are both very rich indeed. American fans do not like that at all, esp. whenever they beat their favorite fighters which they are doing. Vlad toyed with Wilder while sparring for Wach. Wilder is not in the same class as a Klitschko. I would love to see Vitali fight Wilder right after he knocks out Stiverne. American fans claim Vitali has zero chance against Stiverne, they say that about Vitali or Vlad in every fight. Solis was knocked out in the very first round by a right hook by Vitali, American fans did not like that at all, tried to claim is was Solis' knee, but nothing was wrong with Solis' knee until Vitali landed the right hook to Solis' temple and put him down, it was not until that that Solis hurt his knee. We have video you know, but Klitschko haters do not even believe the video! LOL!

Floyd gets hit less than hopkins, the numbers dont lie. His defense is better.

Hopkins has some impressive qualities and him being able to compete consistently at his age is amazing but I call it how I see it.
